Responsibilities
Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and amendments
Manage Chapter 7, 11, and/or 13 cases (experience with Adversaries is a definite plus)
Draft motions, notices, and correspondence
Communicate with clients, trustees, and courts
Track deadlines and maintain case calendars
Use CM/ECF and bankruptcy software efficiently
Assist attorneys with case management and hearings
Qualification
Required
2+ years bankruptcy paralegal experience (consumer bankruptcy required; business bankruptcy a plus)
Strong knowledge of bankruptcy rules, procedures, and timelines
Proficiency with CM/ECF and bankruptcy software (e.g., Best Case, NextChapter, CINcompass, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
Preferred
Experience with Adversaries is a definite plus
