Responsibilities
Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures in a government aviation location
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
Monitor access points and credential requirements, assist with visitor direction, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations through established channels
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious items, and/or alarms, and coordinate with appropriate site contacts and public agencies as directed
Complete detailed activity reports and incident documentation, and use radios, phones, and/or CCTV systems to communicate observations and support site operations
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
