Responsibilities
Represent petitioners in claims filed under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP)
Manage a docket of up to one hundred active cases from intake through resolution, including handling client communications, drafting petitions, filing medical records, drafting briefs, and handling settlement negotiations
Conduct factual and legal research, including medical record review and analysis of expert opinions
Appear before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and work collaboratively with opposing counsel and special masters
Maintain strong client relationships built on empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction
5+ years of litigation experience (federal practice preferred)
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Compassionate approach to working with clients who have experienced medical hardship
Preferred
Experience in administrative law or medical-related litigation
Experience in working with medical experts
