Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or hazard concerns
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying credentials, directing guests, and reporting suspicious behavior according to post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire-related events, and coordinating with property management and public responders as needed
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
Qualification
Required
Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience
Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
