This role involves close collaboration with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality across UI, backend, data, and vendor-integrated systems.

Responsibilities
Act as the Quality Engineering representative within an assigned product team
Participate in:
Product team ceremonies
Sprint planning and execution
Go-Live and release activities
Own and execute end-to-end QA processes
Perform testing across:
Internal enterprise platforms
External and vendor-integrated systems
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate closely with business users
Contribute to continuous improvement of QE practices within the team
Qualification
Required
Financial Domain Expertise (Non-Negotiable)
Hands-on experience in Loan Origination or Loan Servicing
Prior exposure to financial or capital transformation initiatives
Ability to quickly ramp up in complex, domain-heavy environments
Strong Quality Engineering background (not purely functional/manual QA)
Experience across both functional and automation testing
Mandatory automation experience with one or more of the following: Selenium, Playwright
Backend testing experience
Strong SQL skills, including: MS SQL, PostgreSQL (or equivalent)
Full-stack testing mindset covering: UI, APIs, Data layers
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake
Exposure to modern data platforms or analytics-heavy systems
Prior experience using AI tools in testing or engineering workflows
A strong willingness to adopt AI tools in day-to-day work
Examples include (but are not limited to): GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, IDE-based or QE-focused AI tools
