Account Executive

CNET Group, part of Ziff Davis, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive advertising revenue in the NYC market. The role involves business development, account management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver successful advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow your portfolio and generate new revenue streams with agencies and clients direct
Account Management: Proactively manage existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, timely solutions, and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships
Revenue Growth: Demonstrate a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, showcasing YOY growth
Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, with excellent presentation skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships through emails, meetings and entertainment
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as integrated marketing, content solutions, and operations to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and solutions
Reporting: Regularly update sales pipeline on Salesforce, track progress, and forecast future business to management

Required

5+ years of digital media experience
3+ years of direct digital sales experience
Individual contributor with own book of business, working across established accounts as well as a large portfolio of prospective clients
Deep contacts and connections with media agencies and clients responsible for buying digital media
A track record showing YOY growth of your business and personal goals
You're fast on your feet, innovative and energetic
You like to lead by example, creating strategy, selling, meeting new people and winning new business
You love the fact that your internal teams at CNET Group are deeply experienced and prepared to support you with dedicated resources in yield, operations and marketing
