Regional Sales Manager - SW

Trac-Rite is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving B2B sales growth and managing performance in the Southwest territory. This role involves owning regional revenue, managing customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the commercial construction and building products industries.

Responsibilities

Prospect, qualify, and develop new B2B business using a consultative, solution-based sales approach
Own regional revenue growth, profitability, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and market penetration goals
Develop and execute territory sales strategy and account growth plans for new and existing customers
Onboard new customers and build long-term strategic partnerships and key accounts
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer goals, construction timelines, and operational needs
Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long-term account planning to maximize margin and retention
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other sales regions to deliver customer solutions
Generate consistent sales funnel activity to close new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
Maintain accurate CRM data including customer contacts, opportunities, pipeline stages, and revenue forecasts
Provide customers with proactive order updates, production timelines, and project status as required
Travel throughout the region to build relationships with customers, distributors, contractors, and developers (up to 50%)
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent experience
Five or more years of B2B sales experience preferred, ideally within commercial construction, self-storage, manufacturing, or building products
Proven success in territory management, business development, and key account management
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar), and sales forecasting tools required
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred

Five or more years of B2B sales experience preferred, ideally within commercial construction, self-storage, manufacturing, or building products
AutoCAD experience preferred
