Final / Sub Assembly Quality Inspector

The Final / Sub-Assembly Quality Inspector will support the Quality department with in-process and final inspections during the manufacturing build, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections during the manufacturing process per drawing and specifications
Maintain cleanliness and safety by utilizing proper PPE
Initiate first article inspections for all parts requiring conformity
Report necessary drawing changes using an engineering change request form
Communicate discrepancies with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering using a non-conformance report
Other duties as assigned or required

Required

Have a minimum of 1 year of experience performing Inspection or Manufacturing tasks
Ability to read and interpret drawings, engineering documentation, and have a basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Experience using visual and mechanical inspection tools (e.g., scales, gauges, calipers, etc.)
Must be reliable and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Prior experience as a Quality Inspector is highly desirable
Manufacturing and/or Aviation experience is preferred
