Parole Supervisor - York Sub Office

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Parole Supervisor to lead the York General Unit 3 team. This role involves overseeing the daily work of a field unit, assigning caseloads, training Parole Agents, and managing parolee reentry and compliance issues to ensure successful reintegration into the community.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily work of a field unit
Assign caseloads and investigations
Review Parole Agent reports
Conduct administrative conferences
Train and develop Parole Agents
Ensure Parole Agents have the necessary skills to effectively carry out their duties
Manage parolee reentry and non-compliance issues
Maintain compliance with policies and procedures

Required

Three years as a Parole Agent 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Three years and six months of professional experience in casework or counseling of offenders, auditing of offender caseloads, or investigation, in probation, parole, corrections, or a law enforcement agency; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must be in possession of an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent
You must obtain CLEAN certification within two months of employment and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this job
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
A conditional offer of employment requires review of prior law enforcement employment records as required by Pennsylvania Act 57 of 2020
