Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through the proper channels and documenting activity per post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
Monitor access points and controlled areas as assigned, checking identification and/or credentials and directing individuals according to site procedures
Complete shift activity reports and other required logs, support incident investigations as requested, and coordinate with local authorities and/or site representatives when needed
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
