The Granite YMCA is seeking an experienced professional to develop and implement a workforce development apprenticeship program supporting career pathways in early childhood education.

Career PlanningCommunities

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and facilitate training curriculum and program content
Organize and lead up to five program cohorts annually
Coordinate trainers and deliver direct instruction and program orientations
Ensure alignment with NH Childcare Licensing standards and accreditation requirements
Track participant progress, maintain confidential records, and support grant reporting
Partner with branch leadership to place apprentices into training roles
Collaborate with colleges and community partners on career pathway planning
Provide 1:1 career coaching and professional guidance for participants
Co-create simulations, hands-on learning experiences, and assessments
Support budget development and program management

Required

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or related field
Experience in workforce development, training management, or early education
Proven ability to design and execute effective training programs
Experience using Learning Management Systems and training technologies
Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment

Preferred

Knowledge of childcare licensing/accreditation standards
