Start in 2026 FallDelta Air Lines is seeking a Co-op in Simulator Engineering to work in a team environment. The role involves designing and performing hardware and software modifications to flight training devices/simulators to ensure they meet FAA requirements and pilot training needs.

Responsibilities
Reports to Delta’s manager of simulator engineering
Integrates software modifications into flight training devices/simulators in order to maintain commonality with Delta’s fleet of aircraft
Designs hardware modifications of the training devices per simulator and aircraft manufacturers’ service bulletins
Assist with acceptance testing of new flight training devices/simulators, and with the annual FAA requalification of the devices
Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Working towards a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline
Experience with software editing, code debugging, and revision control using various computer platforms and operating systems
Strong technical, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Must perform with a high level of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written skills
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters
Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule: Fall 2026 - 1st rotation, Summer 2027 - 2nd rotation, Spring 2028 - 3rd rotation
