The intern will conduct research on health policy issues, summarize findings, monitor legislative activities, and provide administrative support while collaborating with the Public Policy Team.

Responsibilities
Conducting research on health policy issues, legislation, and regulation that could impact the Company
Summarizing research for PPGA and broader audiences
Monitoring external legislative and regulatory activities
Supporting associate and executive meetings, events, and community activities
Supporting administrative projects in the Division
Qualification
Required
Individual working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited College or University
Rising Junior or Senior studying Public Health, Public Policy or related field
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above
Interest in health policy issues facing the U.S. health care system
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven effective interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interface with, establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external clients
Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Written and verbal communication skills including assisting with presentations and proposals
Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities
Demonstrated skills with various computer applications/software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to explain complex concepts in a succinct manner
Experience reviewing and analyzing legislation, regulation and key court cases
General knowledge of health policy issues facing the U.S. health care system
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship
