Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate current systems and processes to locate any inefficiencies for improvements
Design and implement efficient systems for material flow, information, energy, and logistics to optimize production
Utilize statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff, requirements, and productions standards
Collaborate with management and clients to develop and implement plans for facility layout, equipment, and workforce utilization
Oversee quality control and assurance programs and establishing process controls
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues and formulate solutions
Implement and execute safety procedures and protocols to comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Train production staff of new processes and proving guidance on technical issues
Lead process improvement projects and managing timelines and resources
Conduct data analysis to drive decision-making
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
Strong organizational skills for planning, multitasking, and managing time effectively
Project management skills
Data analytics skills and experience
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communications
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or Business preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or Business preferred
Six Sigma Certification is preferred
