They are seeking a Web Developer (React / Node.js) to support modern customer-facing digital experiences within a large-scale enterprise environment, collaborating with architecture and platform engineering teams to enhance React and Node.js applications deployed on AWS.

Responsibilities
Build and enhance responsive, modern web applications using React and Node.js
Develop reusable UI components and ensure accessibility and responsiveness
Design, integrate, and maintain backend APIs and microservices
Troubleshoot and optimize production web applications for performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including architects and product owners
Participate in Git-based workflows, code reviews, and modern CI/CD practices
Qualification
Required
4-5+ years professional experience in software development
Experience contributing to production-scale, customer-facing web applications
Strong communication skills and ability to work in small, agile teams
Strong proficiency with React (functional components, hooks, state management)
Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS
Experience with responsive, mobile-first, and accessible UI development
Familiarity with frontend architecture patterns (performance optimizations, code splitting, component libraries)
Experience building Node.js APIs, microservices, or backend integrations
Comfortable consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns and secure API communication
React

HTML/CSS
Experience with Jest for unit/integration testing
Familiarity with Enzyme or modern alternatives
Type checking experience (TypeScript or PropTypes)
Strong debugging skills in production environments
AWS experience (hosting, deployments, services)
CI/CD familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines
Strong Git workflow experience
Clear communicator; able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable delivering with autonomy
Pragmatic problem-solver with balanced judgment around speed/quality
Naturally curious — keeps up with modern web technologies
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared success
Preferred

Optimizely/Episerver experience strongly preferred
Enterprise eCommerce platform experience (including OCC or similar)
Understanding of headless CMS architectures
