Responsibilities
Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts
Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account
Verifies accuracy, research discrepancies and reconcile payment errors
Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner
Reconciles payments daily
Works on special projects as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma with minimum of 5 years experience in specific area of expertise
Familiarity with power companies a plus
Utilize PC and mainframe applications, such as Microsoft Office, People Soft, Time, EERS, and PassPort proficiently
Develop customized reports provided by integrated systems, including Passport, PeopleSoft, Impromptu, etc, and MS Office applications
Use oral and written skills to present information
Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts
Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account
Verifies accuracy, research discrepancies and reconcile payment errors
Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner
Reconciles payments daily
Works on special projects as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned
Excellent organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills
Demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
