Digital Marketing Specialist

Remote Office is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist who can set up, run, and scale their client’s marketing efforts. The role focuses on execution through content creation, website optimization, SEO, lead generation, and clear reporting to the founder.

Responsibilities

Understand the business, offerings, customers, and target industries
Define ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), positioning, and value proposition
Map customer pain points to our solutions
Create keyword strategy aligned with real search intent
Set up basic analytics, lead tracking, and reporting
Audit existing website and identify gaps
Improve website messaging, CTAs, and enquiry flow
Develop industry-specific landing pages and use-case pages
Create and execute website content strategy
Write and publish SEO-optimised blogs and articles
Continuously optimise website content for conversions
Set up and optimise social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Define content pillars and social media strategy
Create content calendars and publish consistently
Create basic visual content using tools like Canva
Engage with comments, messages, and communities
Launch organic lead generation funnels
Create basic lead magnets (checklists, templates, guides)
Monitor inbound leads and enquiry quality
Optimise landing pages and messaging based on performance
Plan, launch, and optimise Google Search Ads
Prepare for and scale paid campaigns (Google & Social Ads)
Create case studies, testimonials, and success stories
Develop thought-leadership and authority content
Build listings on review platforms
Create YouTube tutorials and reusable video content
Repurpose content across channels
Share weekly performance updates in simple, clear language
Track what’s working vs not and improve continuously
Document marketing processes and execution playbooks
Help plan the next 6–12 months of marketing growth

Qualification

Required

6-10 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
Strong understanding of SEO (on-page & off-page)
Experience with content creation (blogs, landing pages, social posts)
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and lead tracking
Experience running or assisting with Google Search Ads
Ability to explain marketing performance in simple terms
Comfortable working directly with founders
Strong execution mindset (not just strategy slides)

Preferred

Experience in B2B or service-based businesses
Familiarity with CRM tools and content scheduling tools
Experience building industry-specific landing pages
Basic video creation or YouTube content experience
Canva or similar design tool experience
Experience with review platforms and online communities
