Education Management
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to programs and positions associated with alternative education services and other special education programs, and providing administrative support to various aspects of the financial processes in Student Services
Monitoring and implementing requirements of a special education office and requirements of federally and/or state grant funded programs and marketplace services
Daily activities require independent thinking and immediate decision-making
Demonstrate excellent computer skills and ability to use email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound organizational skills and good judgment
Provide customer service to internal and external customers
Work with members of the data division to ensure all reports are accurate
Other duties as assigned by Program Coordinator
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required; post secondary training is preferred
1-3 years previous secretarial/clerical experience required
Proficiency with Excel required
Current child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances
Clearance as an MA provider by Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Preferred
Working knowledge of student services processes and procedures and school district operations is preferred
Experience with PowerSchool preferred
Experience with IEP Writer preferred
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
