Product Line Manager

ElectroTech, Inc. is a well-established electrical manufacturer’s agent representing leading electrical manufacturers. The Product Line Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and managing the day-to-day operations of multiple electrical manufacturers, ensuring effective communication and project follow-through with sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities

Support outside sales and customers with product selection, pricing, quoting, and competitive positioning
Identify dormant accounts, stalled projects, and open quotes and actively work them to closure
Track and manage sales funnels, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned manufacturers
Manage daily activities including order entry, order status, expediting, returns, and issue resolution
Coordinate with manufacturers on lead times, availability, substitutions, and delivery commitments
Ensure manufacturer programs, promotions, and pricing are properly executed
Oversee orders from initial quote through shipment and billing accuracy
Track project-based opportunities, ensuring specifications, releases, and milestones are followed
Proactively follow up on backorders, delays, and changes to keep customers informed
Maintain accurate documentation and CRM records for quotes, orders, and projects
Act as a product and application resource for internal sales teams and customers
Provide day-to-day support for technical questions, alternatives, and value-engineering opportunities
Assist with project takeoffs, submittals, and specification compliance as needed
Monitor sales activity, quote conversion, backlog, and manufacturer performance
Identify gaps in coverage, product knowledge, or execution and take corrective action
Support manufacturer and internal sales meetings with data, updates, and action plans

Required

Experience in electrical inside sales or manufacturer's agency
Strong working knowledge of electrical products and project-based sales processes
Experience managing orders, quotes, and customer follow-up in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to proactively sell, follow up, and close opportunities

Preferred

Experience supporting outside sales and contractor customers
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and order management systems
Manufacturer's rep or agent experience
