Corporate & Risk Management Paralegal
Pennant Services is a dynamic organization providing essential legal and operational support across its subsidiaries. The Corporate and Risk Management Paralegal plays a key role in supporting corporate governance, risk management, and legal compliance, while collaborating with various teams to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file corporate formation documents, amendments, and annual reports across multiple states
Maintain corporate records, minute books, and organizational charts
Assist with drafting resolutions, consents, and other governance documents
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
Manage requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Maintain insurance documentation and track renewals, endorsements, and coverage updates
Support the Risk team with incident reporting workflows, data collection, and follow‑up
Assist in reviewing insurance requirements in contracts and vendor agreements
Help update, and organize company policies and procedures
Maintain version control and ensure distribution to relevant departments
Conduct research on regulatory or compliance topics as assigned
Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
Assist with contract management, including tracking, formatting, and document organization
Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and document execution
Support special projects for the Legal, Risk, and Operations teams
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience; corporate or risk‑related experience preferred
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of corporate filings, entity maintenance, and insurance documentation
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
Must be able to work three days a week in one of our Service Centers
