Lead communication and coordination with clients and consultants on project goals
Managing structural engineering projects for mid-rise structures
Utilizing experience with building codes and structural design codes
Liaising with clients and coordinating structure with other disciplines including architecture and mechanical systems
Running lateral analysis on mid-rise buildings
Designing in multiple materials including concrete and steel
Designing concrete and steel floors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field
six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation
managing structural engineering projects for mid-rise structures
utilizing experience with building codes and structural design codes
liaising with clients and coordinating structure with other disciplines including architecture and mechanical systems
running lateral analysis on mid-rise buildings
designing in multiple materials including concrete and steel
designing concrete and steel floors
Must be licensed professional engineer in Texas
10% travel required domestically
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the skills above
