Responsibilities
Designing truly amazing hardware solutions to meet challenging customer requirements in order to survive the harshest of environmental conditions
Embracing a 'design it right the first time' philosophy, focusing on factors including affordability, manufacturing, quality, and reliability in order to exceed customer expectations
Collaborating with colleagues and peers of various disciplines and backgrounds to arrive at innovative solutions to problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience
Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters
Experience with designing between C-band through Ka-band
Experience with designing RF Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
Experience with RF principles and test methodologies
Experience in RF testing and validation
Experience with automated test scripts and software tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with any of the following tools: MATLAB, Python, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Advanced Design System (ADS)
Leadership of small design teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills including development of engineering documentation and presentations
Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
Active DoD security clearance
