Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specs

Set up and perform complex precision inspections

Apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) to confirm accuracy

Partner with engineering to develop inspection techniques

Conduct first piece and first article inspections (AS9102)

Help identify root causes and support process improvement

Operate CMMs, Optical Comparators, Micrometers, Verniers, Drop Indicators, Height Gages, and other precision inspection tools to inspect machine components
