Responsibilities
Troubleshoot complex plant issues and recommend corrective actions to engineering management
Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams to develop cost-effective maintenance strategies
Issue engineering changes (design modifications or temporary fixes) to support online work schedules and emergent plant needs
Assist in project planning, prioritization, and execution across the project lifecycle
Implement corrective actions and work management processes to address system deficiencies
Support changes in system configuration, design, and design basis
Develop engineering deliverables according to established standards and procedures
Participate in project teams during critical online system outages or refueling outages
Serve on outage engineering support teams and Emergency Response Organization as required
Maintain professional qualifications and complete required training to perform job functions effectively
Demonstrate self-sufficiency and manage workload independently
Qualification
Required
Education: B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience
Experience: 10+ years in nuclear power design, systems engineering, or plant operations; EFIN experience preferred
SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR strongly preferred
Professional Engineering license strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong teamwork and collaboration across organizational boundaries
Ability to apply problem-solving processes to routine and complex issues
Proficiency with PC and engineering-specific applications
Electrical print reading and understanding of power generation systems
Physical ability to support plant walkdowns and inspections
