Responsibilities
Build and launch a brokerage from zero to scale
Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on produce, reefer, and cross-border freight
Personally drive new business development and key account wins
Recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing sales and operations team
Establish and manage strong carrier partnerships
Implement CRM, SOPs, pricing models, and margin controls
Report directly to ownership with full transparency on performance
Qualification
Required
10+ years in logistics sales, brokerage, or related leadership roles
Proven success in produce and temperature-controlled freight
Strong cross-border experience (U.S.-Mexico and/or U.S.-Canada)
Demonstrated experience building books of business and teams
Track record of leadership with documented results
Preferred
Prior startup, scale-up, or ground-floor brokerage experience strongly preferred
