Mechatronics Intern - Supply Chain
Anyware Robotics is a company that deploys multi-purpose mobile robots equipped with physical AI. They are seeking a Mechatronics Intern – Supply Chain to work at the intersection of robotics hardware development and global supply chain operations, focusing on inventory management, supplier coordination, and logistics.

Responsibilities
Design and rapidly prototype mechanical components for robotic systems
Work closely with software, electrical, and system engineers on next-generation Pixmo hardware
Support robot assembly, testing, debugging, and validation
Optimize designs for performance, durability, manufacturability, and cost
Create SolidWorks CAD models, drawings, and basic GD&T
Troubleshoot mechanical and system-level issues and drive solutions
Take responsibility for inventory management of robotic parts and assemblies
Support supply chain operations and logistics, including international shipping and delivery coordination
Work directly with suppliers on lead time, availability, and cost discussions
Assist with supplier sourcing, communication, and basic business negotiation
Coordinate hardware readiness for builds, testing, and customer deployments
Learn how global trade, logistics, and customs operate in practice
Participate in cross-border communication and supplier negotiation (Mandarin + English)
Gain experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
Understand how engineering decisions impact cost, schedule, and scalability
Grow beyond pure engineering into a tech + operations hybrid role
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
1+ year of hands-on experience (industry, startup, or strong internship experience)
Mandarin Chinese fluency is required (spoken; written is a plus)
Experience with SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, drawings)
Comfortable with hands-on work: 3D printing, tools, lab builds
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, weldments)
Strong learning ability, ownership mindset, and willingness to work in a fast-paced startup
Interest in both engineering and supply chain / operations
Open to regular onsite work and extended onsite support during major delivery milestones
