Director of Development
IF:Gathering is a global ministry igniting a movement of revival through large scale gatherings, discipleship initiatives, and digital storytelling. The Director of Development will play a critical role in the financial sustainability and growth of Gather, responsible for developing comprehensive global revenue strategies and managing fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year revenue strategy across revenue streams (mass, mid, major, planned giving, corporate, church, foundations and partnerships)
Lead on the strategy and opportunities for global revenue expansion
Conduct thorough research on funding opportunities, market trends, and potential donors to identify new revenue streams
Oversee all fundraising activities, including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, events, and individual donations
Lead the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's brand and values
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key donors, sponsors, and funding partners
Identify and pursue grant opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of grant proposals and reports
Collaborate with program managers to gather necessary information for grant applications and reporting
Collaborate with the executive team and other departments to ensure alignment between revenue generation efforts and organizational priorities
Effectively communicate the organization's mission, impact, and financial needs to external stakeholders
Monitor and analyze revenue performance against budget, providing regular reports and updates to the executive team and CFO
Work alongside the CFO to create informed revenue forecasts
Make data-driven recommendations for adjustments to revenue strategies based on performance metrics
Supervise and mentor a team of fundraising and partnership professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Provide guidance and support to team members in achieving fundraising targets and professional development goals
Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Promote transparency and accountability in financial reporting and fundraising practices
Qualification
Required
High energy, maturity and leadership with the ability to effectively manage engagement strategies and tactics, organization, culture, and vision
Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with 8-10 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative revenue generation strategies
Experience in grant writing, management, and reporting
Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising software
Strong analytical and financial management skills
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
Personal thriving relationship with Jesus Christ
