Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Current Professional Civil (PE) License in Idaho or Engineering Intern (EI) Certification with ability to obtain PE within 1 year
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in traffic engineering, demonstrating hands-on experience in traffic engineering design and operations analysis
Collaborative team player who communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and project teams
Demonstrated experience with technical writing and clear documentation
Takes ownership and shows initiative in delivering high-quality work
Familiarity with local, state, and federal design standards and guidelines
Preferred
Experience as a consultant
Recent and relevant project experience with ITD with delivery of transportation plans and/or studies
Experience as a project Task Leader
Experience training others in fundamentals of traffic design tasks
