Responsibilities
Administer and optimize the deployment, configuration, and performance of our security services across Amazon's global infrastructure and its subsidiaries
Collaborate with environment owners and stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving security needs of the business
Develop and maintain automated processes for the efficient management and scaling of our endpoint security services
Troubleshoot complex issues and drive the resolution of problems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions
Leverage various monitoring and analysis tools to proactively identify and address security risks
Evaluate and test new capabilities to enhance our endpoint security platform
Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in endpoint security, contributing to the continuous improvement of our service offerings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of systems engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
Experience in any of the following: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent
4+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience
5+ years of experience in data security engineering, with expertise in Microsoft security technologies including Purview and Defender for Office
Preferred
Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes to ensure they meet the standards for maintainability, scalability and security
Experience working in 24/7 production environment
Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200), Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator (SC-400), CISSP, CISM
