NICU Quality and Safety Manager
St. Louis Children's Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. The NICU Quality and Safety Manager is responsible for advancing quality, safety, and patient care outcomes within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, working closely with multidisciplinary clinical and operational leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals
Provides clinical direction, coordination and evaluation of multidisciplinary teams
Manages the development and implementation of interventions
Develops and improves surveillance programs
Design and implement medical protocols based on quality outcomes and investigation
Collaborate with physician partners for quality improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Nursing
2-5 years of experience
2-5 years of supervisor experience
RN license
Preferred
NICU experience
Quality improvement and patient safety experience
Data analysis, reporting and strong communication
5-10 years of experience
