Responsibilities
Evaluates the impact of nonconforming product and supports corrective actions
Champions problem solving and root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurrence of non‐conformances
Evaluates and builds quality plans for inspection or inbound materials
Tracks, monitors, and reports on quarantined materials
Reviews material inspection reports for accuracy and clarity
Works with support staff to ensure quality parts on-time to production partners
Qualification
Required
Typically requires eight (8) years experience in a Quality related role with a High School diploma or the equivalent; or six (6) years experience with an Associates; or four (4) years with a Bachelors; or the overall equivalent
Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality System
Auditing experience
Problem solving - Root cause / corrective actions
Versed in engineering drawings / GD&T
Highly effective communication skills, verbal and written
Motivated self-starter
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to support weekends as needed and per the rotation schedule
Preferred
Experience working in a DoD environment / industry
Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
Green/Black Belt
First Piece Inspection/Testing
Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans
AS9102
Oracle experience
