Responsibilities

Help shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of digital citizens and mission workers
Use development experience to streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production
Incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to reduce tedious tasks for developers
Implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting

Required

5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role
3+ years of experience managing, operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments
2+ years of experience deploying applications into Kubernetes via Helm, Kustomize and GitOps, such as Flux or ArgoCD
2+ years of experience with a cloud service provider, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
Experience in Kubernetes architecture, design, networking, security, and containerization
Experience with Agile methods and practices
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or Configuration as Code, including Ansible, and scripting with Bash, Python, or Groovy
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date

Preferred

Experience with AI/ML/LLM implementations
Experience with AI/ML/LLM security such as Hidden Layer
Experience implementing Cloud-Native solutions to accelerate application development
Experience with Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification
