Responsibilities
Support the daily litigation needs of health care providers and suppliers, including large health systems, post‑acute care organizations, physician groups, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, and digital health companies
Draft clear, concise legal analysis, briefs, motions, and related filings
Conduct discovery and e‑discovery, manage subpoenas, and participate in depositions, arbitrations, and internal investigations
Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business operations, objectives, and strategic goals
Provide practical, actionable legal advice tailored to complex regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with colleagues across related practice areas, including fraud and abuse investigations, licensing and certification, and health care transactions
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice law in California
Located in or near Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego
Level‑appropriate litigation experience (brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e‑discovery, arbitration, depositions, investigations, subpoena responses)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
Preferred
Prior health care litigation experience is not required, but interest in health law and complex regulatory regimes is essential
