Responsibilities
Operate and program robotic welders, including setting controls for wire feed speed, amperage, and gas type
Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using tools like gauges
Perform various welding techniques (MIG/TIG) in flat, vertical, or overhead positions and maintain a clean work area
Load and unload welded frames, managing accurate counts and labeling for customer specifications
Clamp, tack-weld, grind, and clean components to achieve required configurations and maintain quality standards
Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
Qualification
Required
Experience operating and programming robotic welders
Ability to set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, and gas type
Experience inspecting and measuring workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using tools like gauges
Ability to perform various welding techniques (MIG/TIG) in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
Ability to maintain a clean work area
Experience loading and unloading welded frames, managing accurate counts and labeling for customer specifications
Ability to clamp, tack-weld, grind, and clean components to achieve required configurations and maintain quality standards
Experience chipping or grinding off excess weld, slag, or spatter using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
