Responsibilities
Manage case files, including calendaring and docketing court deadlines and schedules
Prepare and finalize pleadings and other legal documents for e-filing across various Arizona courts
Monitor deadlines and ensure attorneys are informed of approaching timelines
Maintain client files, organize records, and create working notebooks to support case preparation
Coordinate travel arrangements and handle administrative tasks as needed
Proofread and edit documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and professionalism
Assist attorneys in responding to urgent situations and last-minute requests
Facilitate effective communication with clients, co-counsel, and other stakeholders
Support the team with copy projects and other administrative tasks as required
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of litigation processes
Qualification
Required
At least 7 years of experience as a legal assistant, specifically in commercial litigation
Advanced knowledge of Arizona state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to manage calendars and court-imposed deadlines effectively
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address urgent situations
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
