This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with allergies, asthma, and immune system disorders, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing (e.g., skin prick tests, blood tests)
Diagnose and manage allergic conditions (e.g., food, environmental, drug allergies), asthma, and immunologic disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy and medication management
Educate patients and families on allergy prevention, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems
Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in allergy and immunology
Supervise and train clinical staff on allergy testing protocols and patient care procedures
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology
Board certification (or eligibility) in Allergy and Immunology
Valid Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
