Account Manager

The National Account Manager will be responsible for redefining execution strategies for national distribution partners, driving demand, and ensuring strong in-market performance through collaboration and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

Redesign and advance distribution execution strategies in partnership with national distributors and internal field sales teams
Drive category growth with a strong emphasis on local operator penetration and efficient demand generation
Co-create and activate annual and quarterly execution plans aligned with joint business priorities and long-term growth objectives
Translate strategic priorities into clear execution playbooks, including goals, KPIs, tools, and resource requirements
Leverage data platforms and performance insights to guide prioritization, decision-making, and opportunity sizing
Hold teams accountable to execution commitments through regular performance reviews and KPI tracking
Build energy, clarity, and alignment around execution initiatives by linking them to broader commercial and organizational goals
Position the company as a preferred national supplier by delivering consistent, high-impact execution and category leadership
Partner cross-functionally to remove barriers, address risks, and escalate opportunities with urgency and clarity

Required

Bachelor's degree required; advanced business degree preferred
5+ years of experience in foodservice sales or commercial roles
Proven success working with large, national foodservice distributors and driving field-level execution
Experience building and delivering structured execution plans at national or regional scale
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Financial acumen, including working knowledge of P&L dynamics
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM, reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI or similar platforms)
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
