Human Resources Generalist

SoTalent is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR guidance and operational support within a fast-paced, employee-focused environment. This role will partner closely with managers and employees, focusing on employee relations, talent processes, compliance, and HR systems within the Customer Care organization.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries
Support managers and employees through performance, conduct, and disciplinary matters
Assist with investigations, coaching, counseling, and terminations
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback trends
Contribute to HR policy and procedure documentation
Support cyclical HR processes such as talent calibration, succession planning, merit cycles, and internal mobility
Respond to HR process inquiries and ensure data accuracy
Generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, WC, Unemployment)
Support organizational and structural changes
Assist in implementing new HR programs and policies
Lead and support HR projects across teams
Support engagement initiatives, surveys, skip-level meetings, and stay/exit interviews
Analyze employee feedback and recommend improvement actions
Serve as a key contact for pre-boarding and onboarding
Prepare HR reports and analysis for leadership as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
2–4 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist role
Solid understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
Willingness to travel occasionally
