5+ years expSoTalent is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support high-availability operations through hands-on technical ownership of computerized systems infrastructure. This role involves ensuring systems are secure, reliable, compliant, and production-ready while partnering closely with Operations.

Responsibilities
Provide infrastructure support for automation, analytics, QC, and operational systems (servers, networks, storage, workstations, client devices)
Maintain system integrity and identify performance, reliability, and security improvements
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across production and laboratory environments
Author and execute commissioning and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ, test scripts)
Own change requests and actively participate in change control processes
Support root cause investigations as the Operations Information Systems (OIS) representative
Review and update SOPs, functional specifications, and work instructions following CAPAs and system/process changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5–10+ years applying IT principles in regulated, high-availability production or lab systems
Experience supporting process automation systems (biotech/pharma strongly preferred)
Hands-on experience with Syncade
Strong documentation skills (networks, interfaces, data flows, infrastructure)
Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Unix, and Cisco networking
Strong experience with SQL Server, OSIsoft PI, and working knowledge of VBScript, .NET, and SQL
Experience with backup, recovery, and deployment tools (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, Ghost)
