Program Manager, Claims Adjuster (RIM Work Comp Dept) - HYBRID

Responsibilities

Responsible for accurate and timely management and investigation of all automobile losses, property losses and general liability claims with minimal supervision from set up to closure. This includes litigated claims
Completes initial contacts with witnesses, department leaders, facilities to obtain facts of the loss and liability determination
Coordinates in-person meetings for investigations with department leadership and insurance carriers
Determine if subrogation is possible for recovery from another party and responsible for ensuring we receive payment
Oversees workplace violence events-reports information out to leadership
Attend meetings in person when necessary
Assign claims to Defense Attorney when a Summons and Complaint is filed with the court system
Review invoices, estimates, expenses and legal bills before approving payment
Responsible for timely payments
Prepares trend reports for report out to Risk Management leadership
May assist workers compensation team when needed
