The role involves programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture transmission and driveline prototypes while ensuring safe and high-quality machine operations.

Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC machines to manufacture transmission and driveline prototypes
Machine transmission and axle castings on 4 & 5 axis centers
Build, gage, and assemble cutting tools and fixtures
Support pre- and post-machining processes: deburring, washing, packing, etc
Load and unload parts in various machines
Ensure safe, high-quality machine operations and maintain a clean, organized work area
Work collaboratively as a team player, a quick learner, and maintain reliable attendance

Required

MUST have CNC programming experience with Mastercam
High School Diploma or GED required
Flexibility to work days or afternoon shifts as needed
CNC Programming and Machine Operator experience
Knowledge of machine tools, basic inspection tools, work holding/fixturing, cutting tools, machining feeds & speeds
Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Fadal, or Haas controls
Good computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
