Responsibilities

In concert with Market Access and Commercial Leadership, and other internal strategic partners, lead the development and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies to support brand strategy and forecasting
Work closely with the Market Access Account Management team to assess customer opportunities and structure contractual agreements that are mutually beneficial
Build the Camurus Inc strategic pricing & contracting capability and organization to prepare for current and future product launches
Execute pricing and contracting strategies, including pre and post deal analysis, gaining approval, and proposing corrective actions as market dynamics change
Partnering with the Market Access Account Management team to execute strategies, manage contracts and address account specific contracting opportunities and collaborate to explore expanded market opportunities
Build relationships and work collaboratively across the business with all internal/external customers, partners and other stakeholders
Stay abreast of macro trends in the healthcare environment that potentially impact current and/or future product pricing, contracting and associated strategies
Design and implement contracting evaluation analytics for pricing and contract strategies and proposal development
Collect, interpret and disseminate internal and external pricing and contracting information to help internal customers, partners, and other stakeholders with timely decision-making, that aligns with brand and corporate opportunities and/or risks

Required

10+ years of biotech/pharma of pricing and contracting experience. Prior leadership roles in pricing, contracting and reimbursement strategy and forecasting development
In-depth knowledge of health care pricing, contracting and reimbursement practices and regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DoD, 340B and Commercial programs and payer policies
Knowledge of Government price calculations and compliance regulations a plus
Knowledge of US payer systems, evolving trends in health care including value-based purchasing, population health management, evidence-based medicine, and quality measures as they relate to pricing and contracting strategy and execution
Previous experience with specialty outpatient administered drugs
Strong problem-solving skills, including knowledge of various source data, with the ability to research complex issues and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses
Strong leadership skills to work across functions with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to gain consensus and drive results
Well-developed project management/organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities; proactive, results-oriented willingness to drive changes across the organization while working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, focusing energy in the right places to work efficiently
Customer-focused and have the ability to identify and meet the expectations and requirements of internal and/or external customers
You need to live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Princeton, NJ
