Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of insurance coverage disputes, with a primary focus on financial lines, including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Cyber, Media, and E&O policies
Handle substantial insurance coverage litigation at both trial and appellate levels, as well as an increasing number of matters involving the defence of insureds
Analyse complex legal and factual issues relating to insurance coverage and defence
Draft coverage opinions, coverage correspondence, pleadings, and legal memoranda at trial and appellate stages
Develop and implement efficient and effective resolution strategies
Communicate clearly and responsively with clients, delivering a consistently high level of service
Meet all court-mandated and internal deadlines
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in the State of New York
2–8 years of litigation experience
2–8 years of insurance coverage experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Federal court practice experience is highly regarded
Prior judicial clerkship experience is advantageous
