Account Manager - Flavors

They are seeking a Midwest Account Manager for a leading independent flavor manufacturer, responsible for managing customer relationships and driving business growth in the food and beverage sectors.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of food and beverage customers across the Midwest region
Develop new business opportunities with emerging and established manufacturers
Partner with applications and R&D teams to support customer briefs, trials, and commercialization
Lead pricing discussions, account planning, and commercial negotiations
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence
Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows, and regional industry events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related discipline
3–8+ years of sales or account management experience within the flavors or food ingredients industry
Strong understanding of flavor applications across food and beverage categories
Proven ability to manage key accounts while driving incremental growth
Experience covering multi-state territories, ideally within the Midwest
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills
