Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst
Polygon.io is a growing technology company focused on fintech, seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to support the CFO with various accounting and finance operations. Responsibilities
Support month-end and quarter-end close, including revenue recognition review, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and CapEx accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and review management accounts and draft P&L and balance sheet reviews
Manage Bill.com including AP review, payment processing, and vendor management
Conduct weekly AP and AR review, including customer communications, expense reimbursements, travel approvals, and payroll accounting review
Perform weekly bank statement review and reconciliation
Monitor revenue performance through internal systems and provide insightful analysis
Support preparation of monthly and quarterly board reporting, leadership reporting, weekly updates, and sales pipeline reporting
Participate in weekly pipeline and leadership meetings and cross-functional reviews with Sales and Revenue teams
Assist with financial analysis, forecasting inputs, and ad-hoc analysis
Join VC, banking, and advisor meetings as appropriate
Review sales tax returns, support new state registrations, and assist with ad-hoc tax and compliance items
Support documentation and audit-readiness processes
Qualification
Required
~4–6 years experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit
Strong understanding of revenue recognition, month-end close, and financial reporting
Comfortable working across systems (QBO, Bill.com, Stripe, ChartMogul, etc.)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage recurring deadlines
Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue, and Leadership teams
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, fintech, or venture-backed companies a plus
Interested in growing into broader FP&A and strategic finance exposure
