Disneyland Facilities Management Engineering Intern, Fall 2026

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Facilities Management Engineering Intern for the Disneyland Resort. This internship program is designed to develop students' professional skills while providing hands-on experience in Facilities and Project Management, assisting engineers and managers with various projects at the Resort.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects as directed by team leader and with the planning, coordination, and execution of small projects as directed. Provide on-site review, inspections, and reports of work in progress
Produce/compile Onboarding documentation for various Trades
Produce/compile Support 1 and 2 Training documentation and provide Data Analysis and recommendations
Assist with Job Plan reviews, Future Operations and Asset Planning, producing workflow processes, Planning and assisting with Disney MyTime (Shift Clock Summary)
Coordinate scheduled field activities with all affected parties, while working alongside department Schedulers to prepare and update project schedules and work plans
Participate in estimating walks and assist department Estimators in preparing and updating project estimates
Role will include both desk and field work that will require some flexibility on start time hours

Required

Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or similar major
Demonstrated strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
Knowledge of and how to work with the whole building package and managing a project from start to finish
Experience in reading blueprints, working in Maximo and AutoCAD
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus/interest in Utilities
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera project planning software
Knowledge of how an HVAC and A/C function
