Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and intuitive digital tools that streamline proposals and onboarding workflows
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless advisor experiences that integrate retirement, brokerage, education, and other account types into a unified proposal
Leverage modern technologies and cloud-native architectures to build resilient, high-performance services that support Edward Jones' growing SMA/UMA and fee-based planning initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or related work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development
Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, TypeScript) and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, React)
Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), microservices, and API-first development
Proficient in at least one of the following: Web Application Development, Client/Server Application Development, Mainframe Online and/or Batch Development, Enterprise or solution specific purchased software
Understand business implications of projects for systems within responsibility and prior experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
