Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve server and hardware infrastructure issues
Install, maintain, and replace server and storage hardware
Perform basic network and system troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Linux)
Document work and manage tasks through a ticketing system
Follow detailed instructions, security protocols, and safety procedures
Collaborate with team members and share technical knowledge
Accept feedback and adapt performance as needed
Qualification
Required
Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, particularly GPU-based systems
Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1-3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands-on hardware experience, especially with home labs or GPU architecture
2-3+ years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be willing to commute out to the areas of Boardman, Umatilla and Hermiston, OR
2 years of experience working with server hardware
