Eddy County, NM is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to provide administrative and operational support to the Facilities Director and Facilities Manager. This role involves assisting with scheduling, work order coordination, recordkeeping, and communication with staff and vendors to ensure effective operation of the Facilities Department.

Other administrative functions as assigned
Assist with oversight of Facilities and custodial staff only when directed by the Facilities Director or Facilities Manager
Provide limited field assistance as needed to support department operations
Assist with coordination of training for new employees
Support continuity of operations during the Facilities Manager’s absence
Work independently
Manage multiple priorities
Perform duties with limited supervision
Attend job-related meetings
Participate in an on-call rotation
Handle off-hours call-outs for emergencies
Qualification
Required
Administrative and operational support experience
Ability to assist with scheduling, work order coordination, recordkeeping, purchasing and invoice tracking, reporting
Strong communication skills with staff, vendors, and agencies
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to perform duties with limited supervision
Willingness to work irregular hours and participate in an on-call rotation
Ability to assist with coordination of training for new employees
Support continuity of operations during the Facilities Manager's absence
