Manning and Training Specialist

Core Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Manning and Training Specialist to provide technical and analytic support to the U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Readiness Operations Center. This role is critical in evaluating crew manning and training requirements to ensure mission-capable aircraft carriers are fully ready to deploy.

Responsibilities

Training Program Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate long-range training plans and programs to meet CVN readiness requirements
Manning Analysis: Conduct needs assessments for current and future manning, analyzing optimal sailor skill mixes to account for total ship workload and operating costs
Data Integration: Collect and analyze maintenance and logistics data (CASREPs, DRRS-N, etc.) to develop statistical and graphical trends regarding operational readiness
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with CNAL/CNAP codes to provide feedback to CVN leadership and facilitate daily updates to internal and external stakeholders
Personnel Loss Analysis: Analyze unplanned personnel losses, distribution friction, and rating health to improve sea and shore readiness
Readiness Reporting: Review message traffic for Training Readiness reporting and assess the impact of unit-level training on readiness goals

Required

Minimum 10 years' experience in developing training programs and conducting needs assessments for CVN readiness
Minimum 10 years' experience in military manning, budgeting, and analyzing personnel allocation and assignment
Strong knowledge of Training and Education Reports (ITERs) and Enlisted Manning Inquiry Reports (EMIRS)
Recent technical management experience with CVN crew training and manning requirements (within the last 5 years)
Fluent in Naval Aircraft Carrier references and standard Naval Instruction requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Eligible for Secret clearance
